Dog Trainer

As an Assistance Dog Trainer, you will play a crucial role in the training and socialisation of assistance dogs, helping them to develop the skills necessary to support individuals with disabilities. Your work will directly impact the lives of people who rely on assistance dogs for independence, mobility, and support. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about dog training, disability support, and making a meaningful difference in the community.
We are currently looking for paid dog trainers in the following areas:
England: Devon, Bristol, Newcastle/Middlesbrough
Wales: Central or can travel around.
Scotland: Glasgow
Ireland: Dublin
Responsibilities
- Assist our pups through our training programme
- Be available both in-person & online for sessions
- Monitor team's progress & pass through notes
- Carry out stage assessments
- Adhere to ethical training standards
Must Have
- Patience & Compassion
- Strong communication skills
- Qualifications & experience in Dog Training
- Valid DBS
Nice to have
- Qualifications & experience in Assistance Dog Training
- Safeguarding qualifications
- Valid UK Driver's License
