An inclusive project

Canine Allies CIC not only trains Assistance Dogs. We are passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. We frequently go out into public to educate the public about Assistance Dogs and general accessibility.

A support network

We work closely with our Assistance Dog partnerships, there is no separation from staff to member, we work together as one to support one another and refer to our members for the majority of our decision-making where appropriate.

People who truly understand
The majority of our trainers, staff members and volunteers have a disability and even assistance dog of their own. We know first hand the difficulty in training an Assistance Dog and the isolation that a disability can sometimes bring. This is why you can rest assured you will never be judged for having to move your session or struggling some weeks more than others.
