Volunteer Fundraising team

--Canine Allies CIC--

We are looking for a motivated and organised Volunteer Fundraising Team Member to help develop and coordinate fundraising opportunities that support the work of Canine Allies CIC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching funding opportunities, planning events, and helping raise awareness within the community. 


Location: Remote and occasional in-person meetings/events if planned near you

Commitment: Flexible – approximately 4–8 hours per month (or as agreed)

Responsibilities

  • Grant Research and Funding
  • Support the preparation of grant applications where appropriate
  • Keep track of funding deadlines and application requirements.
  • Help plan and coordinate monthly fundraising activities and events.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials and fundraising campaigns
  • Coordinate volunteers and resources required for fundraising events

Must Have

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence researching information online
  • Basic IT skills, including email and online organisation
  • Creative thinking and enthusiasm for generating new ideas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

  • Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or the charity sector
  • Experience in grant research and application
  • Experience in marketing
