''Hi my name is Dede and my beautiful life saver is mojo my medical and psychiatric assistance dog in training.
Life before I had mojo was very difficult and hard for me, life as a teenager with severe chronic illness and debilitating mental health I never saw a way out, I remember so vividly the day mojo and her litter were born and it was like a light at the end of the tunnel, that is where I chose the name mojo from as she is my little magic charm xx
Now while I still struggle more than before mojo has saved me in every way possible. She starts my day every morning with a cuddle in bed and some smooches, gives me a reason to get out of bed and distract me from everyday struggles, she has given me the ability to start to go outside for walks and outings in my wheelchair together which I would have never had the ability to do before. I used to be absolutely terrified of doing anything that would cause me a medical episode, scared of what was happening to me during these episodes but with mojos life saving cardiac alerts they give me the time to get somewhere safe and I always wake up to her beautiful face staring back at me which really does make all the difference knowing you always have someone looking after you.
I was always scared and confused on how to start mojos training as an assistance dog as I had no idea where to start !
