''My name is Laura and my assistance dog in training is Elsa she is a 15 month old working cocker spaniel.
Life before having Elsa was difficult I would hardly leave the house if I did I had to be with my partner or sister and I would have massive anxiety and panic attacks where I would cry and shake constantly and then we would have to leave.
Having Elsa has changed my life for the better we have been together for a year. Elsa is giving me the confidence to go out and do things that I wouldn’t have done. She give me a purpose to get up and live my life. I still have anxiety and panic attacks but Elsa does her job and helps me cope through them. She’s helped me massively to get tests at hospital and the doctors which before having her I wouldn’t have done and would just cancel our appointments. I’ve been able to go shopping to the cinema go on days out with my kids and partner. August this year we went to Bolsover Castle and watch jousting.
I can’t thank canine allies enough they have helped myself and Elsa grow as a team. They are helpful and supportive so encouraging.''
