Volunteer Mental Health First Aider

As a Volunteer Mental Health First Aider, you will provide vital support to staff, clients, and volunteers within the organization. You will offer initial assistance and emotional support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, creating a safe and supportive environment for those working with or caring for assistance dogs. Your role will help to promote mental well-being and ensure that individuals in the organisation feel heard, supported, and connected to the right resources when needed.

Must Have

  • Qualification in Mental Health First Aid
  • Valid Enhanced DBS
  • Valid safeguarding training
  • Patience and Resilience
  • Empathy and Compassion

Nice to have

  • Experience working with vulnerable children and/or adults
