We are looking for a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence and spread awareness of our work. This role plays a key part in engaging our community, promoting our initiatives, and helping us reach more people who can benefit from or support our mission.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Develop captions, stories, reels, and posts aligned with Canine Allies CIC’s values and tone
- Share updates about our projects, events, campaigns, and successes
- Work collaboratively with the Canine Allies CIC team to plan content and campaigns
- Help grow our audience and increase engagement organically
Must Have
- Genuine interest in dog welfare and Canine Allies CIC’s mission
- Confidence using at least one major social media platform
- Good written communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Reliability and ability to work independently
Nice to have
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva)
- Understanding of social media trends and hashtags
- Previous experience in social media
